Our School Day

The School Office is open from 8.30am until 4.00pm. where you will be able to speak to Mrs Kelly Carter, our Office Manager, Mrs Kate Casson and Mrs Andrea Harvey, our Admin Assistants, regarding all queries. Absences can now be reported 24/7 via our MCAS app

 

Arrival arrangements

- Reception (EYFS) Children enter via the lower playground and parents drop them at
the classroom door from 8:45am.
-Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) Children enter via the lower playground school gates.
Parents drop their children at the gate from 8:45am, with children making their own
way to their classroom for their early work supervised by their class teacher.
-Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6) Children enter via the central courtyard near the
school office. Parents may drop their children at the gate from 8:45am, with children
making their classroom for their early work supervised by their
class teacher.

 

Collection arrangements
-Reception, Year 1, 2 and 5 Children exit from the lower playground. Parents may
collect their children from this area.
-Reception, Year 1 and 2 children are only released directly to their parent or
childminder. Please do let the school know if there is a change to the normal person
due to pick your child up.
-Year 3, 4 and 6 Children exit from the central courtyard near the school office.
Parents may collect their children from this area. Please do let the school know if
there is a change to the normal person due to pick your child up.
-Year 5 and 6 children, particularly Year 6, are encouraged if they live within walking
distance to be trusted to walk home to help develop their independence. Please do
let the class teacher know if this is the case.
An example timetable for each year group is available on each year group's page for further
information. Timetables are subject to change according to the various projects being
taught or if we are running a particular themed day or week such as 'World Book Week' or
'Sports Week'.
